Young man arrested with arms in Comilla

Comilla, Sept 3 (UNB) - BDR jawans arrested a young motorcyclist along with a firearm, bullets and drugs at Kotok bazaar in Bibir bazaar frontier here on Thursday.

BDR sources said acting on secret information they rounded up Roman Sarkar, 27, at about 2pm when he was going to border area in a motorcycle.

BDR personnel later recovered a foreign made pistol, two rounds of bullet, two empty magazines, 17 ampoules of pathedin injection, Tk 23,000 in cash, three mobile phone sets and two bank cheques from his possession.

Later, BDR handed over Roman to Kotwali Model police station.

A case was filed.
