CARACAS, Venezuela, SEP 4 (AP/UNB) - Colombia defeated Venezuela 2-0 in a friendly on Friday, with goals from Juan Guillermo Cuadrado and Dayron Moreno.

Cuadrado scored with a powerful shot in the 17th minute and Moreno used his speed to beat the defense, adding the clincher in the 66th.

Both teams failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and are regrouping for the 2011 Copa America in Argentina.
