
Chapainawabganj, Sept 4 (UNB) - Indian border security force (BSF) today brutally tortured to death a Bangladeshi cattle trader and thrown the body into river Padma.
They body of Saidur Rahman (21) was rescued from the river at 1-30 pm from the bank of the river. He hailed from Dakatpara of Ghughudanga village in Shibganj upazila.
BDR local commander Lt Col Zayed Hossain said Saidur crossed the border for purchase of cattle offered by Indian traders. On way, BSF of Padma Char out post held him. They mercilessly beat and cut his tendons before throwing into the river.
He said they have protested to BSF for brutally killing Saidur.
