Couple along with lone child killed in Gazipur road accident

Gazipur, Sept 5 (UNB) - A couple along with their lone child was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Sutrapur in Kaliakoir upazila on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Dil Mohammad, 29, his wife Kohinur, 24, and his son Rowshan, 6.
They hail from Gabtoli village of same upazila.

Police said the accident occurred at about 11am when a bus hit a motorcycle carrying three family members, leaving the couple dead on the spot and injuring their son.

The injured minor boy was admitted to Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital where the doctors declared him dead after admission.

The three family members met the accident near Shilabrishti patrol pump while they were going to the petrol pump to take fuel for their motorcycle.

A case was filed with thana in this connection.
