Old man killed being hit by bamboo from under-construction building in Natore

Natore, Sept 5 (UNB) - An old man died as he was hit by a bamboo, which fell from an under-construction building, at Alaipur in the town on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Ishaque Ali, 65, a retired officer of Cooperatives Department, and resident of the area.

Police quoting witnesses said a bamboo fell on the head of Ishaque while he was returning to his home from a local bazaar that left him injured in the morning.

He was rushed to Sadar hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead after admission.
