1,582 more arrested in countrywide drive

Dhaka, Sept 8 (UNB) - Police arrested 1,582 people on various charges in separate drives across the country in 24 hours till 6am today (Wednesday).

Five firearms and 18 rounds of bullet were also recovered during the countrywide drive, said a release of police headquarters.

Besides, 32 motorcycles were seized during the drives for not having valid documents and 233 cases filed in this connection.
