1,852 selected as headmasters of primary schools and 30,712 as assistant teachers

Dhaka, Sept, 8 (UNB) - A total of 1,852 candidates have been selected finally as headmasters of government primary schools and 30,712 as assistant teachers, a PID handout said on Wednesday.

The Department of Primary Education published the results today.

They have been selected in line of talent and quota and on the basis of numbers obtained by candidates in written and viva tests-2009 following the rules and norms of appointment of teachers.

Results of the tests have been sent to all districts across the country and will be displayed on notice boards of district primary education offices, the press release said.

Selected candidates have been requested to collect their appointment letter and join before September 23, 2010.
