News - President hosts iftar for security personnel on Thursday
Dhaka, Sept 9 (UNB) - President Zillur Rahman on Thursday hosted an Iftar party for those members of different law enforcing agencies, who are involved in ensuring security of the President and the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister’s adviser on Security and Defense Affairs Maj Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Chiefs of the three services, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division (AFD), Directors
General of Special Security Force (SSF), DG Forces Intelligence and DG National Security Intelligence), Inspector General of Police, Commandant of President's Guard Regiment and other personnel concerned attended the Iftar.

The President exchanged greetings with the invitees and also inquired about their well-being.

Before the iftar, a special Doa was offered seeking divine blessings for continued welfare and progress of the country and the nation as well as unity and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.

Concerned Secretaries of the President’s office were also present.
