Police recovers body of unidentified girl from city’s Sabujbagh

Dhaka, Sept 10 (UNB) - Police recovered the body of an unidentified teenaged girl from city’s Sabujbagh area early Friday.

On information, a team of Sabujbagh thana police led by sub-inspector Shahin recovered an abandoned luggage from a place near the eastern side of Khilgaon Flyover at about 12:30 am.

After searching the luggage, police found the body of a girl, aged about 15, wearing black shalwar and red kamiz.

Police suspected the girl was strangulated to death before her body was kept inside the luggage.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.

The reason behind the killing as well as the identity of the girl could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
