MADRID, Sept 10 (AP/UNB) - Cristiano Ronaldo has recovered from an ankle injury to make Real Madrid's squad for Saturday's league game against Osasuna.

Ronaldo was expected to be out three weeks after hurting his right ankle in the season-opening 0-0 draw at Mallorca on Aug. 29, but coach Jose Mourinho included the forward in his team for the match at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Ronaldo missed both of Portugal's European championship qualifying games while recovering from the injury, including a 1-0 defeat at Norway and 4-4 draw with Cyprus.

Portugal center back Pepe also returned to the lineup for the first time since injuring left leg in preseason.
