MADRID, Sept 10 (AP/UNB) - The head of Real Madrid's medical service says playmaker Kaka's recovery from left knee surgery is on schedule.

Carlos Diez says Kaka has "met each of the planned objectives" in his recovery from knee surgery five weeks ago.

The Brazil playmaker, who spends 5{ hours each day rehabilitating his left knee, is expected to be out until at least December.

While Kaka's recovery is focused on his knee, Diez says the rehabilitation will eventually come to include work on a nagging groin injury, which kept the player out of action for lengthy periods last season.
