BNP leader Mirza Abbas released on bail

Dhaka, Oct 4 (UNB)-BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas was released on bail today (Monday).

Abbas, who was under treatment in police custody at the city’s BIRDEM hospital, was released at about 5pm, according to the party sources.

He will stay in the hospital for some more days for treatment, the sources added.

Mirza Abbas was arrested from the capital during the countrywide hatral on June 27 called by BNP.
