MADRID, Jan 21 (AP/UNB) - Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has pledged to see out the season with the Spanish league club but remained vague over his future.

Mourinho's tense relationship with the Spanish press boiled over Wednesday during a news conference and several outlets reported that the Portuguese coach wanted to leave at the end of the current season.

Mourinho says he wants to remain with Madrid for the rest of the campaign, and will then make a decision on whether he sees out the next three years of his contract.

Mourinho said after a 1-0 Copa del Rey win over Atletico Madrid on Thursday that "if everyone is happy then the coach continues - if they aren't happy then the coach doesn't continue." Madrid hasn't won a trophy since 2007.
