SSC, equivalent exams under 10 Education Boards underway

News - SSC, equivalent exams under 10 Education Boards underway
Dhaka, Feb 1 (UNB) - SSC and equivalent examinations under country’s 10 Education Boards began today (Tuesday).

A total of 13,15,002 candidates are taking part in the examinations. Of them, some 9,91,860 are taking part under eight general Education Boards.

A total of 12,06,019 examinees appeared in last year’s examinations.

On the first day of the examinations, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid visited Mohammadpur Government High School and Lalmatia Girls’ High School centres in the city.

Later, talking to journalists, the minister said that the examinations began in a peaceful and copy-free atmosphere, which will be maintained till the examinations are over.
