News - 2 more died of Nipah virus in Lalmonirhat
Lalmonirhat, Feb 5 (UNB) - Two more children of Hatibandha upazila died of Nipah virus at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Friday night, raising the death toll from the disease to 19 in last six days.

The deceased were identified as Sharpo, 4, son of Mohammad Jahangir and Alam, 10, son of Rafiqul of South Godrimari village in the upazila.

Besides, 10 more people infected by the disease were undergoing treatment at Hatibandha health complex and Rangpur Medical College Hospital, said Civil Surgeon of the district, Jahangir Alam.
