Dhaka, Mar 23 (UNB) - Telephone network of Grameen mobile phone collapsed early hours of Wednesday during its work on ‘network optimization’, Grameenphone officials said.

They said work on network optimization began Tuesday midnight and the network collapsed before dawn on Wednesday.

“It’s unusual…We do the optimization work off and on at midnight so our subscribers do not face much difficulties,” a senior official of the Grameenphone told UNB.
