Cyber center inaugurated at Noakhali Universty of Science & Technology

Noakhali, Mar 29 (UNB) - Noakhali University of Science and Technology (NUST) has a cyber center.

State Minister for Science and Information & Communication Technology Yeafesh Osman formally inaugurated the cyber centre on the campus as the chief guest this (Tuesday) morning.

NUST Vice Chancellor, leaders of student bodies, peoples representatives, educationists, local government officials and journalists were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Osman said, ordinary people of the country have got access to information technology easily, so the country is now progressing by adapting to the technology.

A cyber zone was also set up on the campus.

The State Minister distributed awards among the winners who took part in an inter-division debate at NUST. He also cast his vote for Sundarbans, the world`s largest mangrove.

A seminar was held, followed by a cultural programme.
