Dhaka, Jul 9 (UNB)-Parents and ex-students of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College Saturday formed a human chain on the school’s main campus at Siddeshwari demanding resignation of the Principal and expulsion of all male teachers following the sexual assault on a student of Basundhara Branch.

Holding posters and banners they marched around the school campus and raised their demands.

Referring to the transfer of some male teachers from Basundhara branch to other branches, the protestors said those teachers would not be accepted at any branch and demanded their complete expulsion.

Some students expressed their utter dismay to private television channels over the teachers’ misdemeanor. One student said “we could not never ever expect such dirty act from teachers.”

Another student said if they are not protected at their school, Digital Bangladesh or dream of Sonar Bangla can not materialized.
