News - Asia’s biggest Eid congregation held in Sholakia

Kishoreganj, Aug 31 (UNB) - The biggest Eid congregation of the continent was held at the Sholakia Eidgah in Kishoreganj district on Wednesday.

The congregation was led by Maulana Farid Uddin Masud, chairman of Islahul Muslimin Parishad and general secretary of Jamiat-e-Olama-e-Islam.

Around four lakh Muslim devotees from different parts of the country as well as devotees from Malaysia joined the congregation that began at 10 am.
