News - DSE starts week’s trading on negative note
Dhaka, Sept 18 (UNB) - Investors witnessed another frustrating morning as the trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) began on a negative note on Sunday, the opening day of the week.

The DSE key index, DGEN lost over 36 points or 0.61 percent to close at 5929.66 after first hour’s trading of the day.

The premier bourse of the country saw a slight gain on Thursday after the key index of the DSE shed 94.43 points or 1.55 percent on Wednesday.

The DSE bounced back on Tuesday, making a 134-point gain amid street protests by retail investors.

The turnover stood at Tk 671.848 million at 12 pm today (Sunday). The turnover was Tk 2958.691 million on Thursday.

Of the issues traded till 12 pm today, 32 advanced, 167 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
