Milon secures bail in murder case

Dhaka, Oct 6 (UNB) - Former State Minister for Education Ehsanul Haque Milon of BNP secured ad-interim anticipatory bail from the High Court on surrender before it Tuesday in a murder case.

Milon is an accused in Mannan murder case of Toitea village in Kochua upazila in Chandpur district.

A division bench comprising Justice MA Wahhah Mia and Justice M Abdur Razzaque granted Milon the ad-interim bail until submission of the police report.

Passing the order, the bench issued a rule upon the government to explain why the petitioner should not be granted a regular bail.

Advocate M Nazmul Huda appeared for Milon.
