Advance train ticket sale begins Thursday

Dhaka, Oct 26 (UNB) - Bangladesh Railway will begin the sale of advance train tickets in Dhaka and Chittagong for different routes tomorrow (Thursday) to ease the sufferings of homebound people before Eid-ul-Azha.

The advance ticket sale will continue till October 31, divisional commercial officer Rokonuzzaman told UNB on over phone on Wednesday.

He said the ticket sale from both Dhaka and Chittagong will start at 9am and continue until those are sold off.

The railway official also said additional coaches will be added to trains on different routes apart from operating special trains.

The tickets for November 2 will be sold on Thursday. A passenger will be allowed to buy maximum four tickets, non-returnable.
