JSC, JDC exams begin

Dhaka, Nov 1  (UNB) – The examinations of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) began across the country today(Tuesday).

A total of 1861,113 students, including 323,691 from Madrasah,  are appearing in the examinations in 2,009 examination centres under the country’s eight general education boards and the Madrasah Education Board.

A total of 464,128 JSC and JDC examinees are  sitting for the exams under Dhaka Board while 194,632 under Rajshahi Board, 200,495 under Comilla, 198,833 under Jessore, 128,104 under Chiattagong, 85,527 under Barisal, 94,290 under Sylhet, 171,413 under Dinajpur and 323,691 under Madrasah boards.

The examinations will end on November 21. The students will be awarded scholarships on the basis of their results.
