Mild tremor felt along Shilong border region

Dhaka, Nov 4 (UNB) - A mild tremor was felt in Shilong border region of the country on Friday.

The quake measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale shook the region at 16 hours 15 minutes 30.56 seconds Bangladesh time, said a special bulletin of Met Office.

The distance of epicenter was 269 km northeast of Agargaon Seismic Centre in the capital, the bulletin added.

However, there was no immediate report of damage or casualty.
