School boy killed, 2 injured in wall collapse

Dhaka, Nov 15 (UNB) - A school boy was killed and two others were injured in a wall collapse of an under construction building at city’s Khilgaon thana on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Jobair Rahman Fahim, 7, class I student of Faizur Rahman School in Meradia and son of Moniruzzaman Selim, special police Sub-inspector (SI) and resident of Dakkhin Banasree area in the city.

Police said a portion of wall of an under-construction building of the school fell on three students while a group of students were playing near the under-construction building, leaving them injured at about 10 am.

The injured Jobair, Srabon and Ullash, were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared Jobair dead.

Another injured, Srabon, was later shifted to Islami Bank Hospital.
