Mymensingh, Nov 27 (UNB) - Dhobaura upazila chairman Pahari Selim was sent to jail hajat on Sunday in a graft case.

Selim, also a local Awami League leader, surrendered before the 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Court at noon seeking bail in a case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission.

Judge Sharif Uddin turned down the bail prayer and ordered him to jail hajat.

A case was filed against him on December 29, 2001 in this connection.
