Dhaka, Nov 28 (UNB) - Suranjit Sengupta who was inducted into the cabinet today as new minister said politics is to serve the people and he would try his best to perform his responsibilities with honesty.

He made the remarks to reporters after taking oath as minister at Bangabhaban this evening.

Earlier, Suranjit along with Obaidul Quader MP and State Minister for Environment and Forests Dr Hasan Mahmud took oath as full ministers.
