Dhaka, Nov 30 (UNB) - The Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Wednesday said certain unscrupulous elements and visa agents have been trying to intrude into the online visa application system for blocking slots and apportioning them for consideration.

The High Commission, however, assured all the visa applicants of taking preventive measures at the earliest as the matter is being investigated, said an Indian High Commission press release.

It said the unauthorised activities by such elements and agents are not only causing an impediment to smooth functioning of the online visa application system but also causing grave inconvenience and
distress to genuine travelers wishing to visit India.

The High Commission is committed to providing efficient visa services to the citizens of Bangladesh intending to travel to India and appreciates their understanding and cooperation in this regard.
