Minor girl violated in Sirajganj

Sirajganj, Dec 1 (UNB) - A minor girl was violated allegedly by a teenage boy at Barapakuria village in Kamarkhanda upazila on Wednesday.

The culprit was identified as Sujan, 15, son of Shahidul Haque of the village.

Quoting local sources police said Sujan took the girl, a class I student of the village to his house alluring her to give apple and violated her at around 11am.

Hearing her screams local people rescued the girl in profusely bleeding condition and admitted her to a local hospital.

However, the rapist managed to flee the scene.

A case was lodged in this connection.
