FBCCI delegation leaves for Myanmar

Dhaka, Dec 5 (UNB) - A 36-member delegation of the country’s apex trade body FBCCI left for Myanmar on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as her entourage members.

FBCCI (Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry) president AK Azad is leading the delegation, said a press release.

It said the FBCCI president will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republican of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (RUMFCCI) for the formation of Joint Business Council during the visit.

The delegation members will have discussions with their counterparts on regional communication, boosting investment and export during their stay in Myanmar.

FBCCI first vice president M Jashim Uddin, vice president Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu, FBCCI directors including Monwara Hakim Ali, M Aminul Haque Shamim, SM Nurul Haque and presidents of different business bodies are, among others, in the business delegation.
