News - Rare variety of fish caught in Netrakona
Netrakona, Dec 14 (UNN) - A rare variety of fish was caught by a fisherman at Mogra river in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

Locals said the rare variety was caught by fisherman Sunil Bormon, who along with others went to catch fish in the river in the morning.

Later, the fish was taken to the Nagra residence of Abdur Rahman Farazi in the pourashava and kept in a water reservoir where the curious people thronged for having a look at it.

Local people after seeing the one and a half feet long fish said that they have never seen such a fish before.

None could identity the fish. Local fishermen, however, named it as ‘Tiger Fish’.
