Noab for speedy probe into journo couple’s murder

Dhaka, Feb 14 (UNB) – Newspaper Owners’ Association of Bangladesh (Noab) has demanded speedy investigation into the gruesome murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarwar and Mehrun Runi and the arrest of the perpetrators.

Noab came up with the demand at a meeting here on Tuesday, said a press release.

Condemning the incident, the meeting urged the editors and journalists of both print and electronic media to adhere to the highest ethical standard of journalism regarding the incident and the ongoing investigation into it, and refrain from any speculation.
