News - Section 144 imposed in Narail
Narail, Feb 27 (UNB)-Local administration imposed section 144 in the district town for 12 hours on Monday as BNP, Awami League and AL’s associate bodies called separate programmes in the town at the same time.

Police said, BNP district Committee President Abdul Kader Shikder and Awami League Poura Committee President Moloy Kumar Kundu called separate meetings in the town at the same time, prompting the administration to impose a 12 hour ban from 8 am to 8 pm.

Khandaker Hasnat Tarique, additional district magistrate of Narail, slapped the ban to avoid any untoward incident.

Additional forces have been deployed in the district town.
