
Chapainawabganj, Mar 10 (UNB)-Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel returned an Indian boy to Indian Border Security Force (BSF) authorities through Charaldanga border in Gomostapur upazila on Friday afternoon.
BGB-43 Rifles Battalion commander Lt Col Anwar said Pandab Mondol, 14, of Tegharia village of Maldaha district of India, was catching fish in a river intruding into Bangladesh territory through border pillar No 212 in the morning.
Local people caught and handed him over to BGB Charaldanga BOP.
Later, a BOP commander level flag meeting was held between BGB and BSF and Pandab was handed over to BSF Kalaibari BOP commander SK Jadev.
