Dhaka, Mar 11 (UNB) – Huge apparels were burned to ashes as a fire broke out in a readymade garment (RMG) unit at Chawkbazar near Lalbagh on Sunday.

However, no casualty was reported.

Fire fighters said the fire broke out at a garment factory, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 7-storied building at Urdu Road at about 5.45 pm and it soon spread to several rooms, burning down huge apparels.

Being informed, four fire fighting units rushed to the spot from Phulbaria and doused the flame.
