Dhaka, Mar 14 (UNB) - A Pakistani company will invest 8.965 million US dollars and set up a readymade garment-manufacturing industry at Adamjee Export Processing Zone.
An agreement to this effect was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEZPA) and the company, AGI Denims & Apparels Pvt. Limited, at BEPZA complex here on Wednesday.
Sayed Nurul Islam, Member, (Investment Promotion), of BEZPA and Wayne Anthony Jansz, General Manager of AGI Denims, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The company will manufacture readymade garment items and create employment opportunities for 7,096 Bangladeshi nationals, said a press release.
