Outlaw activist held with arms

Jhenidah, Mar 23 (UNB) - An outlaw operative was arrested along with arms in Sadar upazila on Thursday afternoon.

Police received secret information that a group of outlaws, including Shudipto, second-in-command of outlawed outfit Sramojibi Mukti Andolon, were staying at a house at Narayanpur village.

Police raided the house, owned by Ananta, at 3pm and recovered one cut rifle, two pistols and 24 bullets and arrested Ananta.

Police said the arms were kept under a bed.

A case was filed with thana.
