
Comilla, Mar 27 (UNB) - Two people were killed and five others injured as two trucks collided head on at Chhapua on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Chouddagram upazila on Tuesday.
One of the dead was identified as truck driver Abdul, 20, of Rangunia of Chittagong.
A Dhaka-bound banana-loaded truck from Rangamati collided with another truck, packed with passengers and jute, instantly killing Abdul and injuring six inmates of both trucks in the morning.
An injured passenger of the jute-loaded truck died on way to Chouddagram Hospital.
The five injured were receiving treatment at local hospital.
