ACC officer allegedly commits suicide in city

Dhaka, Mar 31 (UNB) - An officer of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) allegedly   committed suicide in his bedroom in the city’s Kamalapur early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain, 55, Assistant Inspector of ACC. He had been residing at 446, South Kamalapur under Motijheel police station.

Police went to the house of Delwar and recovered the body after breaking open the door of his room at about 6 am.

The reason behind committing suicide could not be ascertained immediately. But his family members said that he has been looking frustrated for last few months.
