Faridpur road crash kills 4
Faridpur, Apr 13 (UNB) - Four people were killed and another three injured as a truck rammed an auto-rickshaw at Bhanga upazila on Dhaka-Barisal highway on Friday morning.The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
Mohammad Dadan Fakir, Officer-in-Charge of Bhanga Police Station said the accident took place at about 10:15 am when the district town-bound truck from Barisal rammed the auto-rickshaw killing four of its passengers on the spot and injuring three others.
Among the injured, two were admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital while another to Bhanga Upazila Health Complex.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police seized the killer truck but its driver managed to flee the scene.
