Qatar Amiri naval delegation leaves Dhaka

Dhaka, Apr 13 (UNB) - Qatar Amiri Naval Delegation, led by Brigadier Staff Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al-Kawari, left here on Thursday night after concluding a 5-day visit to Bangladesh.

During the visit, the delegation leader paid courtesy call on concerned directors at Naval Headquarters, including Rear Admiral AMMM Awrangojeb Chowdhury, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (personnel).

He exchanged greetings with them and discussed matters on professional interests, said an ISPR press release.

They discussed about the appointment of highly trained officers of Bangladesh Navy to Qatar Naval Academy.

The Qatar team visited different training establishments, including Bangladesh Naval Academy at Chittagong.

The delegation arrived here on April 8.
