Dhaka, Apr 18 (UNB) - BNP Organising Secretary (Sylhet Division) M Elias Ali remained missing since Tuesday night.

BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said former lawmaker Elias Ali went out of his city residence at Banani Chairmanbari along with his private car driver Ansar.

However, their family members could not contact with them over their mobile phones after midnight.

Banani thana police found the car of the BNP leader in front of Banani South Point School which is located near his house at about 12 am in an abandoned condition.

But neither Elias nor his driver could be traced till filing of this report at 9:05 am Wednesday.
