WASHINGTON, Apr 18 (AP/UNB) - President Barack Obama will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda at the White House later this month.
The White House says Obama and Noda will discuss a number of bilateral, regional and global issues on April 30, including the U.S.-Japan Security Alliance, along with economic and trade issues.
Obama met with Noda in Hawaii last November during an Asia-Pacific economic summit. In December, Obama and Noda spoke by telephone about the situation on the Korean Peninsula following the death of Kim Jong Il of North Korea.
