Bangladesh will play Singapore in AHF Cup Hockey on Thursday

Dhaka, Apr 18 (UNB) – Defending champions Bangladesh will play Singapore in their 2nd Pool B match of the 4th Men’s AHF Cup Hockey in Bangkok tomorrow (Thursday).

Bangladesh, the champions of 2008 in Singapore, made a good start in the ongoing meet beating Chinese Taipei by 4-2 goals in their opening match on Tuesday.

Placing in Pool B with Chinese Taipei, Singapore and hosts Thailand, Bangladesh will play hosts Thailand on Friday (Apr 20) in the remaining pool match.

Two top teams of the ongoing meet will qualify for the 9th Asian Cup Hockey to be held in Singapore next year.
