Minor boy drowns in Jhalakati
Jhalakati, Apr 27 (UNB) - A minor boy drowned in a pond at Kistakati residential project in the town on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Tanha, 5, son of Hafijur Rahman of the residential project.
Witnesses said Tanha drowned in the pond while playing on the bank of it beside their house at about 10 am.
He was rushed to Sadar hospital in critical condition where the attending doctor declared him dead.
An UD case was filed in this connection.
