Mujahid brought back to jail

Narayanganj, Apr 28 (UNB) - Detained war crimes suspect Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid who was released for six hours on parole to attend the namaz-e-janaza of his brother on Saturday afternoon was brought back to the district jail.

Jail sources said Mujahid was brought back to the jail at about 9:45 after he attended the namaz-e-janaza of his brother Muhammad Shoaib.

He walked out of the district jail at 3:23 pm and went to Uttara residence of his deceased brother to attend his namaz-e-janaza. Earlier, in the morning, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification ordering the release of Mujahid on parole.
