
Dhaka, Apr 29 (UNB) – Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Sunday formed an inquiry committee to look into Thursday's certain unusual trading in shares of listed companies by a stockbroker.
“SEC has formed a committee to investigate certain unusual trading in shares of listed companies at the Stock Exchange by HAC Securities Limited on April 26,” said a Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) web post today.
HAC is a corporate member of the DSE and also a stock dealer that participates in bidding of block subscription of shares for newly listed companies as an eligible institutional investor.
