Report on sending artifacts to France submitted

Dhaka, Apr 29 (UNB) – A report prepared by No. 3 subcommittee on evaluation of ensuing situation following sending of artifacts to Gimme Museum in France was submitted at the meeting of a parliamentary body.    

The report was placed at the 22nd meeting of parliamentary standing committee on Cultural Affairs Ministry held at Sangsad Bhaban on Sunday.  

Presided over by committee chairman Kazi Keramat Ali, the meeting was attended by committee member and Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad, State Minister for Cultural Affairs Promod Mankin, Advocate Tarana Halim and Pinu Khan.

Cultural Affairs Secretary Suraia Begum, high officials of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, National Museum, Bangla Academy and others were also present.
