News - Indian cloths worth Tk 2 crore seized in Jessore
Benapole (Jessore), Apr 30 (UNB) – Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members seized a huge quantity of Indian sari and three-piece dress materials worth Tk 2 crore in Sharsha upazila of Jessore on Sunday night.

Acting on secret information, a team of BGB-26 battalion conducted a drive at Navaron and intercepted a covered van at around 10pm.

Later, they recovered the contraband items from the van.

None was arrested in this connection as the driver and smugglers managed to flee the scene.

The seized items were handed over to Benapole customs house.
