Dhaka, May 3 (UNB) - Three Bangladeshi migrant workers were killed and five others injured in a road accident at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
The dead were identified as Sanu Mia, son of Kala Mia, Mortoza Ali, son of Morshed Ali and Ranu Mia, son of Obaiullah. They all hailed from different districts of Sylhet region.
According to a foreign ministry official, the accident occurred at Hamdania near Jeddah Airport when a minibus, carrying some migrant workers, collided with a microbus, killing six workers, including three Bangladeshis, and injuring seven others.
Of the injured, five are Bangladeshi workers. They were taken to a local hospital.
A Bangladesh Embassy official in Jeddah visited the injured at the hospital.
